If you didn't see them open the Alternative stage at the CRF on Saturday you missed one of the best (relatively) unknown bands I've seen for ages. Do yourself a favour and go and get the album (from the band) - www.emerald-sky.com - they were superb. If you like BTR and indeed BS in general I can't see how you could fail to like the album... not often I find a band worth raving about but... They're based around Cambridge...

Is anyone going? Looks like Lynda and I are. Last I heard a few others were thinking about it.
I've discovered its a bit more complicated than first appears - there are standing AND seated tickets although most sites only mention the standing ones. Having now phoned the venue, there are tiered seats towards the sides and in the balcony and standing at the front across the whole width and down the centre. It's an 8 hour event so I think we're going for seats! The Ticketline...

Is anyone else going to Hampton Court Palace to see Rick Wakem an do the whole of Six Wives for the first and only times on May 1st/2nd? We've just bought our tickets (for Saturday)! A bit expensive I know but the whole of a classic album live, to commemorate the ascension of Henry VIII to the throne 500 years ago, at THE best possible venue for it, with full orchestra and choir, band etc, actors, (sadly not on ice) just seems like something not to be missed....
