High Voltage Festival

You'll all be aware by now of the High Voltage festival next summer (ELP, Focus, Asia, Uriah Heep, The Reasoning, Touchstone, Steve Hackett, ZZ Top etc).

What's missing of course is Breathing Space (and Mostly Autumn last time I looked too). If anyone gets a chance who hasn't already done so, please add your thoughts about this to their Facebook thread - go to

York weekend

As no one else seems to have said it..........what a weekend of brilliant live music. And meeting all of the great people who we don't see often enough. But the atmosphere on Sunday night for Breathing Space was just the best possible, and was matched by the performance. Cheers to everyone involved.

At last, I can get to see the band play live. It is great news to see that the band are playing a gig in the south east. And better still, it's away from that travelling nightmare that is London .

I really do hope that this gig is going to be well supported, and that the band will look back on it as a successful and worthwhile gig. If this happens, we might get some more dates in the south...

Who is going to Friday's gig then? I know that Trevor won't be there, as he's in Oz. We won't be there either, sadly due to a prior commitment. However, we'll be there in spirit.

Hi Folks!

Anyone going to the gig at the M Club in Crewe? I'm hoping to get there, but as I'm currently working in Norway and am not planning to get home until the morning of the gig, it might be touch and go! Anyway, has anyone been to the club before and, if so, any thoughts?

From my daughter's POV, she's more than a little disappointed that the club appears to have a blanket minimum age limit of 16, as she won't be 16 until November, and will have...

Just a quick note about the Y Theatre on Friday.

The band were on top form and played an excellent set with the new songs fitting in very well indeed. All of the band were on top form and a lot tighter than the last time I saw them and they were pretty ight then. One noticeable thing for me was that Livvy has now added much more emotion to her singing. Just want to say, what an excellent gig at the Roman Bath. Good sound, great atmosphere with a lot of people who were there just to see the band. And the band were on top form once again.

Questioning Eyes

Together with a friend I caught Breathing Space at the Venue at Stocksbridge last friday. The band are really moving on and the new songs sounded great - more of that in a moment. Liam adds a rockier edge to the band and I think it's all the better for it. Livvy's vocals continue to improve and she looks more and more confident as the 'front' person. Still wish the audience should be larger though (in numbers, that is !). I'd say there were no more than fifty there...

Anyone from south Manchester or Cheshire going to Stocksbridge?

What a great night. Mostly Autumn were on top form. Breathing Space sounded great, even with such an unusual line up for the night. And Flight, Freeway, Free Spirit and Smart Move all sounded great and put on a fantastic show. I hope the large crowd helped raise plenty of money, and this event can become a regular part of the year.
